Phillip Staffa (*1986)
Phillip Staffa‘s artistic approach is rooted in accessibility, directness, and joy. As a trained musician he creates sculptures and installations that invite the viewer to reflect on the symbols, objects and beings that shape our daily lives. He seeks to open new perspectives and create art that is both approachable and meaningful, evoking an embodied, playful and engaging perception. Past exhibitions include PACT Atelier Essen, Galerie Bernau and Adlerhalle Berlin. As a founding member of MONAS Collective he works on interdisciplinary sound installations surrounding the re- wetting of peatlands, with installations at the Caspar David Fried- rich Anniversary 2024 and the German Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. With his band HOPE he released two albums and toured all across Europe, the UK and the US, lately supporting Depeche Mode on their Memento Mori stadium tour.
